New York Giants vs. Philadelphia Eagles

The New York Giants head to Philadelphia, PA to take on the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 3 of the 2017 NFL season. New York enters Week 3 searching for their first win of the season after a disappointing start to their season. Philadelphia is looking to get back on track after a loss in Week 2. They started their season off with a win over the Washington Redskins.

The Giants biggest problem this season has been their offensive line. They have failed to keep quarterback Eli Manning off of the ground and give him enough time to throw the ball to the big time weapons they have. However, wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who is one of those big-time weapons, is banged up. New York is hoping that in Week 3, it all gets worked out and they avoid falling to 0-3 (0-2 in the NFC East).

Philly is looking to improve to 2-0 in the NFC East with this win on Sunday. Just like the Giants, their offensive line struggles to get the job done. Along with the offensive line, head coach Doug Pederson, who calls the plays, has done a poor job of creating balance in the offense. Luckily for the Eagles, second-year quarterback, Carson Wentz has done a great job throwing the ball a ton this season.

Giants Keys To Victory

Protect Eli Manning: It is pretty simple, if the Giants can protect Manning, he will have time to dissect the Eagles secondary.

More from NFL Spin Zone

Go after Carson Wentz: The Eagles offensive line struggles as well, so the Giants needs to get pressure on the quarterback.

Get Odell Beckham Jr. the ball often: There isn’t one player on the Eagles that can even come close to covering Beckham Jr., so the Giants need to make sure he gets the ball, a lot.

Eagles Keys To Victory

Protect Carson Wentz: Same idea as it was for the Giants. If you protect Wentz, you give him a chance to make plays.

Run the ball: Pederson has done a terrible job of trusting his run game. However, he needs to at least run the ball 20 times on Sunday if the Eagles are going to win.

Get to Eli Manning quickly: Philly’s secondary is going to be interesting to watch on Sunday. There are a ton of injuries and, if they do not get to Manning quickly, look for him to get back on track and dominate the game.
