2. The defense finishes the game with 3+ takeaways

If the Saints defense plays like they did in Week 3, then there’s no telling the damage they could or will do. Looking back at Weeks 1 and 2, their defense looked like it was comprised of all rookies. It was hard to watch, but Week 3 was a miracle.

More from New Orleans Saints

In Week 1, they were trampled by the Vikings due to hardly pressuring Bradford, not stifling the run and not getting any takeaways. As for Week 2, the Saints shot themselves in the foot with penalties after what would have been two interceptions. Then in Week 3, they finally were able to come together as a team.

Week 4 will prove a somewhat large challenge for the defense. However nabbing three interceptions against Cam Newton wasn’t easy either. Picking off Jay Cutler is a huge possibility or getting pressure on him due to a mediocre offensive line. As for receivers, the Saints need to be careful of DeVante Parker as he’s become a bigger threat in their offense.

If the Saints can play like they did in Week 3, there’s no way they won’t get some takeaways. I predict they finish the game with two interceptions, a forced fumble and four sacks on Cutler. With a slow start, the defense must make big plays to keep them in the conversation.
