9. Mohamed Sanu, WR, Atlanta Falcons (49.0 percent owned)

When people think of the wide receivers in Atlanta, they obviously think of Julio Jones first and rightfully so. However, after three games Jones and Sanu are awfully close on the stat sheet.

More from NFL Spin Zone

Right now, Sanu has one less reception, five less targets and is only ranked nine spots behind Jones among PPR wide receivers. Chances are Jones will slowly separate himself from Sanu as the season progresses but Sanu is a high ceiling player every week due to the fact how explosive Atlanta’s offense can be. Not to mention, Jones is dealing with a back injury. If he were to miss some time, Sanu would vault from a WR3 to a WR1/2.

8. Javorius Allen, RB, Baltimore Ravens (37.3 percent)

Allen didn’t have his best performance last week against the Jaguars, but I’m not sure it’s all his fault. The Ravens defense gave up 44 points and the game got out of hand in a hurry. When a game turns out like this, the game flow takes an unexpected turn. The good news is Allen managed to lead the entire team in targets (6) and receptions (5) during the blowout.

This week the Ravens will take on the Steelers who just gave up 140 rushing yards and two touchdowns to Bears running back Jordan Howard. I doubt Allen reaches those type of numbers but he should be viewed as a RB 2/3 while getting a boost in PPR leagues.
