Which players on the Denver Broncos will hit for your fantasy football lineup this week? Here’s how the key players may fair against the New York Giants.
The Denver Broncos will be playing the New York Giants and the game will be nationally televised on NBC for Sunday Night Football. The Broncos are fresh off of their Week 5 bye and are looking to get their fourth win of the season.
The Giants are hurting on both sides of the ball. They will be without the majority of their receiving corps, including star Odell Beckham Jr., who is one of the best wide receivers in the league. Sterling Shepard and Brandon Marshall will also be not playing in this game.
Not only will they not have some of their key players, but the offensive line for the Giants have been horrific, and presents a favorable match up for Denver’s defense, who is ranks first in the league with 1,043 yards allowed.
Denver is expected to easily run away with this game which could effect how some of their players will perform. This will also translate to how Denver’s players will be valued in fantasy football this week. Fantasy football is a game wrapped around player-productivity and game-flow can definitely change a player’s output.
Quarterback
Siemian hasn’t passed for more than 259 yards in a single game. His best fantasy performance was in Week 2 against the Dallas Cowboys when he passed for 231 yards and four touchdowns, accumulating 33.95 fantasy points.
If Denver obtains a commanding lead early in this game, then Siemian’s passing volume will suffer, making it hard for him to produce high end fantasy numbers. Unless, New York can make it a game and compete this week, Siemian’s fantasy value is going to be touchdown dependent, making him a risky play.
However, his salary on DraftKings is $5,500 which is a nice value if you want to take a chance on him. At that price, he would definitely leave plenty of capital left over for you to build your team at other positions..
Running Back
Anderson is projected to have a big day against the Giants, who rank 29th in the league with 139 rushing yards allowed per game. The Broncos are expected to win by a large margin in this contest, and they should ride Anderson to close out the game in the second half. He should see plenty of opportunities and should also be featured in the passing game.

He is averaging 15.42 fantasy points per game with his best performance coming against the Dallas Cowboys where he rushed for 118 yards and one touchdown while catching three passes for 36 yards and one touchdowns allowing him to accumulate 30.40 fantasy points in PPR leagues.
With a $6,600 price point this week on DraftKings, Anderson isn’t a cheap value, but he is a very safe play because he’s going to get plenty of chances to put up fantasy points. Compared to some of the more expensive backs this week, he might be the safest option.
Jamaal Charles and Devontae Booker
Neither running back will receive enough workload to be a dependable option in fantasy. One of them might score a touchdown or catch a few passes, but neither one of them will receive enough opportunities to be a guaranteed option.
Wide Receiver
Thomas didn’t fair well in Week 4 against the Oakland Raiders, catching just one pass for 11 yards. Before that game, he was averaging 13.53 PPR fantasy points per game. He hasn’t caught a touchdown pass this year and hasn’t eclipsed the 100-yard receiving barrier either. Opportunities could be limited due to game-flow, but he should receive enough targets at least be a dependable WR2 in fantasy this week.
His price on DraftKings is $6,000, making him a risky play this week. There are cheaper options available that are capable of putting up similar numbers as Thomas.
Playing on the opposite side of Thomas does have it’s benefits. Mostly it results in less double teams and being guarded by the opposing team’s second best cornerback. Thomas should see plenty of double teams in this game, leaving Sanders with a lot of one on one match ups. He should get targeted frequently in this game. Look for him to deliver high end WR2 number with the potential reach WR1 status if he can put together some big plays.
Sanders holds a price point of $6,100 on DraftKings. There are certainly more cheaper options, but he will receive enough targets to at least finish as a WR2 in fantasy.

Tight End
Green has turned six targets into six receptions for 73 yards and one touchdown. He doesn’t receive enough opportunities in the passing game to be a dependable option in fantasy, and more than likely he’s sitting on the waiver wire in your league. Leave him there, because unless he scores a touchdown, he’s never going to be fantasy relevant.
