Fantasy Football 2017: 10 Deep sleepers for Week 7
By Dan Thomas
4. Dion Lewis, RB, New England Patriots (19.3 percent owned)
Last week Lewis was the Patriots most productive running back for fantasy football purposes after logging 11 carries for 52 yards and one touchdown. A big reason he had such a good game was because his teammate, Mike Gillislee, did not see a lot of playing time after he fumbled the ball in the first quarter. Lewis could lead the team in carries for the second-straight week if the coaching staff has some trust issues with Gillislee.

- Dallas Cowboys made the trade everyone else should have made
- Pittsburgh Steelers rookie sleeper everyone should be talking about
- Anthony Richardson putting jaw-dropping talent on display immediately
- Denver Broncos’ stud wide receiver might be out for a while
- Washington Commanders: Three takeaways from win over Ravens
Keep in mind if the Patriots decide to give Gillislee his usual workload, it might not be a death-sentence for Lewis. In Week 5 Lewis finished with nine touches for 63 yards, so there’s a decent bet he sees double-digit touches in what should be a high-scoring game against the Atlanta Falcons.
3. Marlon Mack, RB, Indianapolis Colts (25.3 percent owned)
Mack has passed the eye-test when it comes to playing the actual game of football but it hasn’t translated to fantasy football success. Yet, that might change this week with Robert Turbin now out for the season. Mack will be the team’s No. 2 running back moving forward and gets a favorable matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars run defense.
