Sure, we can all give praise to the Chargers for getting five sacks on Trevor Siemien on Sunday afternoon, but the real excitement should be around how well there defense played against the run. Not only did he struggle in the first-half, but Los Angeles kept him under 50 total rushing yards for the game in Week 7. Needless to say, this was easily the best defensive-performance we have seen from the Bolts in 2017.
Defensive coordinator Gus Bradley deserves a ton of praise for how well his defense performed against Denver. His unit was one of the worst in the NFL in rushing yards allowed per game and yet, they gave an inspired effort on Sunday afternoon for the home crowd.
