2. Chargers will sack Tom Brady four times or more

I don’t believe that I am any more impressed with something the Chargers have done this season, than what they have been able to do with their pass-rush. Heading into the 2017 regular season, everyone knew that Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram could potentially be a two-man wrecking crew in the passing game, but little did we know how elite these two would become together.

More from NFL Spin Zone

The Chargers are currently tied for fourth in the NFL with sacks, as they have totaled 23 takedowns over their first seven games of the year. Not to mention, Bosa and Ingram have combined for 16 of those 23 total sacks. Needless to say, that’s literally insane.

I should probably also mention that these two are the only teammates inside of the top six sack-leaders in the NFL. If people around the league weren’t paying attention before the year began, Bosa and Ingram definitely hold their full attention now.

Heading into Week 8 against the Patriots, these two guys have another opportunity to do some major damage, as New England’s ability to protect Tom Brady has been very average. This year more than others, the future Hall-of-Fame quarterback has had inconsistent protection up-front, which has cost them a few games in the first-half of 2017.

Again, watch out for Ingram and Bosa on Sunday afternoon, as they set their sights on Brady and the Patriots.
