The Chicago Bears face the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, Oct. 29 in Week 8 of the 2017 NFL season. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

What a difference a change at quarterback can make, which the Chicago Bears can attest to. They’ve looked like a different team since Mike Glennon was benched in favor of rookie Mitchell Trubisky. However, they now have arguably their toughest test since that depth chart decision. In Week 8, they’ll travel south to the Superdome to face the New Orleans Saints.

The interesting thing about Trubisky for the Bears is that it’s clear that head coach John Fox still doesn’t trust him. They’ve relied almost exclusively on running backs Jordan Howard and Tarik Cohen on offense to this point. More importantly, they’ve relied on their defense to carry them in big games, which they’ve been able to do with tremendous talent and effort on that side of the ball. If they keep progressing, they have a viable playoff shot.

New Orleans certainly seems postseason bound as well, recovering after a slow start. Saints quarterback Drew Brees hasn’t been bad, but he’s not been as good as expected. With that said, the rest of the offense and the defense have made strides. That’s allowed them to be balanced and perhaps better than ever before.

This Bears team is much more frisky of late than anyone thought they’d be. Though the coaches don’t yet trust Trubisky, he’s clearly a huge upgrade. And while the Saints have been playing lights-out of late, they can’t take this visiting Chicago team lightly on Sunday.
