3. Trevor Siemian wasn’t the answer

Siemian’s play keeps getting worse as the season goes on. He completed just 19 of his 36 pass attempts, equating to a 52.77 percent completion rate. His dismal 5.5 yards per attempts is a testament to how he has been very inefficient when it comes to connecting with his receivers on deeper routes. The offense is struggling and it’s mostly due to his inability to complete passes to his receivers.

Not only was he off the mark on a lot of his pass attempts, but he also threw three interceptions in this game. Siemian has thrown an interceptions in every game but one, and has six interceptions in his last three games. His recent play as has been one of the main reasons why the Broncos lost three straight games.

The Broncos will now lean on Brock Osweiler in the near future to shake things up. Neither he nor Paxton Lynch is optimal, but things were starting to go downhill quickly with Siemian at the wheel and a change might be enough to provide a spark for Denver’s offense.

Denver needs to address the quarterback position in free agency or the draft next offseason as it currently appears that they don’t have anyone talented enough to consistently move the chains at quarterback.
