1. Ezekiel Elliott has more yards than Kareem Hunt

After a rough start to the 2017 NFL Season, Ezekiel Elliott is in the hunt for the rushing title again. He’s 70 yards behind Le’Veon Bell of the Pittsburgh Steelers for second place and 73 behind Kareem Hunt of the Chiefs.

While Hunt has been a monster — and a joy to watch — this game will be all about Zeke. Most of the talk beforehand has been and will be about his looming suspension and continual appeals, but then when the coin toss ensues, the chatter will change.

Elliott was fantastic as a rookie in 2016 when he led the league in rushing, but he still never put together the kind of success he’s had over the past two weeks. His 297 yards and five total touchdowns prove he’s playing on a different level right now. The legal battle seemed to bother him earlier in the year, but it’s not anymore — if anything, it’s pushing him harder.

On Sunday, Elliott will continue that trend and not only will carve up the defense, but he will out-gain the league leading rusher on the other side of the ball. He may end up being suspended eventually, but before he is, he will remind the world again how good he is at playing football.
