Coaching Staff

Even though Chargers lost their first four games of the season, everyone needs to recognize how impressive it is for this team to be (3-5) heading into their bye-week. Remember, this is a franchise who moved to Los Angeles and hasn’t received much support from the local fans. It’s definitely been a tough hill to climb, but first-year head coach Anthony Lynn has this team headed in the right direction.

In all honesty, this roster could have easily thrown in the towel after that fourth-straight loss. However, this coaching staff has motivated these players to keep competing every weekend and it sure has showed as of late.

Winners of three of their last four games, the Chargers are going to be a dangerous team to watch in the second-half of 2017. With first-round pick Mike Williams finally starting to get involved in the offense, Philip Rivers will have one more weapon to throw to as this team heads down the stretch-run of the season.

Thanks to some much-needed adjustments by both Ken Whisenhunt and Gus Bradley, this football team, miraculously, has a slim chance of climbing back into the AFC Playoff race before year’s end. Again, take notice of the job this coaching staff is doing, because they are the real deal.
