Running Backs

Start

Orleans Darkwa, New York Giants vs. San Francisco 49ers – Over the last three games, Darkwa has averaged 15+ carries per game and he should see at least that many carries in Week 10. The 49ers rank dead-last in the NFL in rushing defense so there’s a good chance Darkwa finishes the Week as a RB2.

Bilal Powell, New York Jets vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Matt Forte is trending in the wrong direction and might have to sit out this week with a knee injury. If that happens, Powell could push for 18+ touches in a good matchup against the Buccaneers.

Sit

Thomas Rawls, Seattle Seahawks vs. Arizona Cardinals – Eddie Lacy has already been ruled out for Thursday Night Football so Rawls will get the start. That might mean something to most people but not me. Rawls has less than 100 rushing yards on the season and the matchup isn’t a good one.

Ameer Abdullah, Detroit Lions vs. Cleveland Browns – Here’s the good news: Abdullah saw 22 touches last week. Here’s the bad news: He only managed 57 total yards. The Browns organization might be a joke, but their run defense is actually pretty solid (fourth in the NFL).

Doug Martin, Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. New York Jets – Martin hasn’t been impressive since he returned from his suspension and now the Buccaneers will be without their starting quarterback and No. 1 wide receiver. Tampa Bay’s offense should have a lot of trouble moving the ball on Sunday.
