2. Defense Wins Championships

The Broncos defense has the talent to stifle New England’s explosive offense. They currently rank fourth in the league with 192 passing yards allowed per game. Denver might have the best pass defense in the league. They have a lot of talent in the secondary combined with a very efficient pass rush.

Von Miller has a sack in every game but two this season with a total of eight sacks on the season. He’s the heartbeat of the defense and if he can get to the passer then it’s going to be a long night for Tom Brady. Look for him to get at least one sack in this game.

The Broncos defense has not allowed more than 250 yards passing by quarterback all season and they look to continue this streak this week against the Patriots. This might be the first game of the season where the defense allows more than 300 passing yards, since they are playing the best passing offense in the league.

It’s not outside the realm of possibilities that the defense stifles New England’s passing assault on Sunday night. They are equipped to handle a high powered passing offense. If anything, this should be a fun matchup to watch. Don’t be surprised if the defense hold Brady to less than 250 passing yards.

Bold Prediction: Denver’s defense hold’s Tom Brady to less than 250 passing yards
