The Patriots currently rank 25th in the against the run with 121.5 rushing yards allowed per game. They are allowing a hefty 5.1 yards per carry on the season. The Broncos can exploit this with their rushing attack. They have the tools to get it done and move the ball on the ground against the Patriot’s inefficient defense.

Denver needs to run the ball more, because they need to keep the ball out of their starting quarterback hands. The Broncos are 3-0 when C.J. Anderson gets 20 or more carries, so it’s important that they don’t abandon the run in this game.

The Broncos are splitting carries three ways between Anderson, Jamaal Charles and Devontae Booker. Anderson has been receiving the bulk of the work, but don’t be surprised if Booker obtains a large market share of the touches out of the backfield.

I can see Denver relying heavily on the run this game if they want to keep this game competitive. Stopping the run is New England’s main weakness and it would be a shame if the Broncos didn’t try to exploit that on Sunday night.

The Broncos should easily eclipse the 100-yard mark in this game. If they don’t, it’s because the coaching staff completely abandoned the run. They have a tendency of doing this when they fall behind in games, even though they don’t have the offensive fire power to compete in a shootout with most teams in the league. Even if that happens, the Broncos will still be successful on the ground on Sunday.

Bold Predictions: Denver rushes for over 100 yards
