Get ready for the best week ever! There are so many killer matchups, so which is your Fantasy Football 2017 Game of the Week for Week 13?

Each week during the NFL season, certain games stand out. These are not necessarily the games with the most on the line or with the most impact on the standings. Instead, they hold the most star power and fantasy football implications.

These are the games every fan needs to watch, from the die hard to the guy pressured into joining a fantasy league with work associates. This is the fantasy football 2017 game of the week for NFL Week 13.

Two brothers from New York, Dan Salem and Todd Salem, debate Fantasy Football 2017 in today’s NFL Sports Debate.

Fantasy Football 2017 Week 13

The NFL season is finally beginning to deliver. We had some ugly football for a few months there, but games have picked up recently as the playoff picture takes shape. Not only that, but Week 13 looks like one of the best slates of games we have had all year. Best week ever!

Game of the Week

Todd Salem: There are five games between teams over .500 this week, as well as other tough divisional battles that don’t fit that description. Detroit at Baltimore and New England at Buffalo don’t even make the top five this week!

Philadelphia at Seattle The Eagles are the class of the league right now. Seattle is too shaky for this game to live up to expectations though. The Legion of Boom is banged up; the running game is nonexistent. Seattle is getting more than a field goal at home, which hasn’t happened since 2012!

Los Angeles Rams at Arizona Cardinals Any other week, a surprising Arizona squad facing Los Angeles would be the game of the week. It has too much competition this week to believe in Blaine Gabbert for a third straight game.

Carolina at New Orleans The Saints have been teetering on disaster and finally caught a loss as the defense has declined these past two weeks. I also want to see one more week of Carolina. That sounds ridiculous since it’s won four straight, but this is when the schedule gets tough.

Pittsburgh at Cincinnati Much like the Rams game, the Steelers are weighed down by their foe, even if this is an exciting divisional game. Any other week…

Minnesota at Atlanta is the fantasy game of the week. Case Keenum cannot be ignored any longer. Threats of replacing him with Teddy Bridgewater are over. The receivers are perhaps the best group in the NFL. And Atlanta is back baby! Three good wins in a row; Tevin Coleman has replaced Devonta Freeman‘s production; Julio Jones also just sent thousands of owners into the fantasy playoffs all by himself (for those who play with two-week postseason matchups).

Dan Salem: The Vikings versus the Falcons sounds like a great fantasy football 2017 matchup, except that Minnesota has been stifling offenses this season. If their defense slows Atlanta, this could easily be a one-sided football game. I’m not willing to take that risk with my game of the week. Instead I turn towards two teams I can rely upon.

Eagles vs. Seahawks is my Fantasy Football game of Week 13. Philadelphia is self explanatory. They are shredding defenses and scoring at will, so we can expect monster fantasy days from everyone on the Eagles. Carson Wentz is on pace to win the league MVP, but his wide receivers and running backs have been just as dominant. One thing we can count on this season is Philly’s offense scoring a lot of points.

More Week 13: Five Teams on Upset Alert!

You questioned the Seahawks and their ability to do much of anything against the Eagles. Yet I must remind you that Seattle consistently plays up or down to its opponents. Plus, Russell Wilson is having a sneaky great fantasy season and is also being mentioned in the MVP debate. I love the combo of Wilson to Jimmy Graham, and we know the Seahawks will be throwing a lot to keep up with the Eagles’ offense. We don’t need to trust the Seattle defense, but I believe their offense will do enough to make this a thrilling game and our Fantasy Football game of the week.
