3. The Best In The Business

I’ve said it many times this season, but the Broncos have one of the best defenses in the league, if not the best defense. They match up well against the Jets offense and they could have a tremendous performance this Sunday.

More from NFL Spin Zone

New York’s offensive line has allowed 35 sacks this season, averaging to 2.92 sacks per game. Denver’s defense does a very good job at getting to the passer and Von Miller is on of the best pass rushers in the league. The Broncos should be able to get the quarterback with ease in this game, making it very hard for the Jets to constantly sustain drives.

As a team, the Jets average 3.9 yards per carry which is well below average. Bilal Powell leads the team in rushing with 502 yards and three touchdowns while averaging 4.2 yards per carry. This is a great matchup for Denver’s defense and they should be able to shutdown New York’s run game.

Josh McCown has been very efficient throwing the football this season, completing 67.8 percent of his passes while averaging 7.5 yards per attempt. However, the Jets have not played a secondary as tough as the Broncos all season and should find it difficult to move the ball through the air on Sunday.
