2. Trevor Siemian Disappoints Again

Even though New York’s defense ranks in the bottom third of the league, Trevor Siemian will still struggle in this game. He hasn’t had a respectable performance since week two against the Dallas Cowboys when he passed for 231 yards and four touchdowns while completing 68.75 percent of his passes. The only time he surpassed the 300-yard mark this year, was in week six when the Broncos got blown out by the New York Giants 23-10.

Honestly, I look for Siemian to struggle for the rest of the season. His career as a starting quarterback might as well be over, because the Broncos are going to bring in another quarterback for the 2018 season and Siemian will not be the team’s starter next year.

He can’t consistently connect with his receivers and he is one of the worst quarterbacks in the league when it comes to completing passes 15 or more yards downfield. The Jets are one of the worst defenses in the league, but they have enough talent to shutdown Siemian’s passing attack.

If the Broncos lose to the Jets this week, it will be due to Siemian’s inability to keep the chains moving. The team’s quarterback play is one of the main reasons why the Broncos have lost eight straight games.
