3. The Titans are a resilient team

Things looked bleak for the Tennessee Titans after falling behind early in the first quarter by a 14-0 margin. At halftime, the score was 21-3 in favor of the Chiefs. Nevertheless, they hung in there and stuck to their gameplan. That is something they should be given credit for.

Eric Decker, who has been one of Tennessee’s top targets throughout the course of the season, dropped a couple of passes early. Even still, quarterback Marcus Mariota kept going to him and trusting him. That trust paid off as Decker caught the game-winning touchdown pass.

This resiliency is something that could pay off as they advance to the second round of the playoffs. Although the challenge will be greater, they need to stick with what they know how to do. Balance is the name of the game for the Titans, and keeping defenses on their toes has been one of their hallmarks of the season.

They can beat you in many ways, and more often than not, can make a big play when needed. They have the weapons, they just need to be able to put it all together. It looks as though they continue to improve each week.
