2. Losing the first playoff game

Very few things are as rare as a Bill Belichick coached team losing their first playoff game. In fact, in his four seasons in Cleveland, they did make the playoffs once as a Wild Card, and they won their Wild Card Round game.

While in New England, the Patios have won at least one playoff game in their first six playoff appearance and each of their last six. However, in 2009-10, they failed to win a playoff game. In 2009, they lost a Wild Card Game to the Baltimore Ravens, and in 2010, they lost a Divisional Round Game to the New York Jets.

If a player was drafted by New England in 2011 and is still on the team, they’ve seen the AFC Championship Game every year. This will be the first year they don’t. The early struggles will catch u to New England this year, unlike last year.

It will end up being a close loss, but still a loss. It’s rare, but it will happen, because the Titans will hang around long enough to take the lead. The defense is one of the worst defenses under Belichick with the Patriots, and they won’t be able to overcome that.
