2018 NFL Power Rankings: Final four set for Championship Round

2. Minnesota Vikings
Sunday’s games were by far the most fun to watch — provided of course you didn’t have a rooting interest in one of the losing teams. If that was the case, it had to be incredibly heartbreaking, which is the only way to describe how the New Orleans Saints and their fans could have felt after how the game went down.

With hopes of a second Super Bowl run for coach Sean Payton and quarterback Drew Brees, they headed on the road to play the Minnesota Vikings. After coming back from a 17-0 halftime deficit, the Saints took the lead at 21-20 only to fall behind on a Minnesota field goal. Not to worry, Brees led them down for what looked like a game winning field goal with just 25 seconds to play.
Down 24-23, the Vikings shocked everyone with a third-down throw with just 10 seconds left that covered 61 yards for an unbelievable win. The Saints could do nothing but watch receiver Stefon Diggs run untouched into the end zone as the Vikings kept hope alive to be the first team to play a Super Bowl in their own stadium.
They’ve done this with Case Keenum at quarterback after losing Sam Bradford to a knee injury. The veteran went for more than 300 yards and never gave up on his team even as the clock was running out on their season. Not only do they have someone like that leading their offense, but this is the kind of defense that can dominate as well. The Vikings are a deep and well-rounded club.
