3. Ronald Darby

Since being acquired by the Eagles in a trade with the Buffalo Bills in August, Ronald Darby has been a tremendous asset. He is the type of physical corner that the Eagles’ secondary lacked for the longest time, and he has proven to be versatile. Darby possesses tremendous coverage skills and is not afraid to get physical. He is good at coming up and making tackles, particularly on running plays.

Even after missing time with a dislocated ankle, he still managed to make an impact. On the season, he recorded 34 tackles and three interceptions. He played a huge part in the Eagles’ win over the Atlanta Falcons, tallying seven tackles and a pass deflection, bringing that toughness to the defensive side of the ball.

If the Eagles want to win this game, Darby has to play a key role in this one. With a loaded backfield that includes Latavius Murry and Jerrick McKinnon as well as a wideout group that includes Stefon Diggs, Darby should have plenty of opportunities to make an impact. He is one of the Eagles’ top defensive players and he needs to prove to them that he can continue to be depended on in this one.
