2. Case Keenum will be the game’s MVP

The biggest difference between last year’s Vikings squad and this 2017 team, has been quarterback Case Keenum. Taking over for Sam Bradford early in the season, no one knew what to expect from him or this Minnesota football team. Despite the lack of confidence in their abilities, Keenum has led the Vikings to the 2018 NFC Championship.

Week after week, I’m continually amazed at how much Keenum has improved over his years of bouncing around the NFL as a backup. He’s not only playing great football right now, but he’s playing at a championship level, which is great news for Minnesota.

Even though the Vikings have to play in Philly, I have a ton of confidence in Keenum’s ability to avoid the Eagles pass-rush and make big plays downfield. People can hate on New Orleans all they want, but that was a legit defense the Vikings beat in the Divisional Round.

If Keenum could handle the pressure against the Saints, especially when it looked like all hope was lost, he’ll be alright in Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday. Don’t be surprised when he’s the landslide-favorite for the game’s imaginary MVP award.
