Super Bowl 52: 8 Best prop bets to wager on for Eagles vs. Patriots
By Dan Salem
There are literally over 400 Super Bowl 52 prop bets to pick from. You can’t even read them all, so we nailed down your top eight money making bets for the big game.
Super Bowl week is pretty great. No, we don’t care about media days or interviews or endless analysis. But what Super Bowl LII does deliver is the best batch of proposition bets available at any time of the year. Super Bowl gambling is so fun, that the outcome of the game hardly matters!
The best prop bets combine some semblance of football knowledge with something that isn’t connected to football in any way whatsoever. You can have your “length of national anthem” bets and shove em.
Of course, shout-out to the most ridiculous Super Bowl LII prop bets in the category we just lambasted. What color will Pink’s hair be when she starts to sing the national anthem? and Will Pink be airborne at any point during her singing of the national anthem? are both available bets. We love that the first must clarify “when she starts” in case her anthem has a sudden wardrobe change when the rockets red glare. We also have the over/under on number of tweets by Donald Trump on February 4 set at five. We’d go under, but also we couldn’t care less.
Two brothers from New York, Dan Salem and Todd Salem, debate Super Bowl 52 in today’s NFL Sports Debate.
As for the actual, best wagers to make on Super Bowl LII (via ESPN):
Todd Salem’s Best Bets:
(1) Nick Foles UNDER 22 completions -110
Both sides of this are -110 odds, meaning it’s an even bet outside of the vig. Is Foles going to continue his mastery of postseason opponents – he is completing 75 percent of his passes thus far — or run up against it with Bill Belichick and the Patriots staring him down? I’ll bet the latter. As a bonus, “if no completions, “under” is the winner,” so I’ll have that going for me as well!
(2) Will James White score a touchdown? YES +260
James White has played in seven career postseason games and has seven career postseason touchdowns. You do the math!
(3) Who will have more on Feb. 4 game?
Senators + Canadiens goals -0.5 vs.
Eagles + Patriots QB sacks
I’m taking the sacks, at +120 odds. I expect both quarterbacks to be facing pressure often. Brady will have trouble with the Eagles’ front, and Foles will keep at least two run-pass options that he should have handed off, resulting in losses. Ottawa and Montreal are both in the bottom seven in the NHL in goals per game.

(4) Who will have more on Feb. 4 game?
DeMar DeRozan points vs.
Shortest made field goal of SB LII -1.5
This one is fun because the shortest made field goal could be anywhere from 20 to 60 yards. I think one team will be stunted inside the 10 yard-line at least once, settling for a field goal. That means, considering the -1.5, DeRozan would need to score around 28 to feel good about this one. Luckily, I do feel good. He is playing against the hapless Grizzlies and is in the midst of his best shooting season of his career. Take DeRozan +1.5.
Dan Salem’s Best Bets:
There is no limit to the incredible and insane bets made on the Super Bowl. Most notably, in my opinion, might be the anonymous folks who bet over $1 million on the Eagles to win Super Bowl LII. Philadelphia might pull it off, but I’d put that money on sacks over goals scored before I’d hedge so far in the Eagles’ favor. Now for my own best Super Bowl LII prop bets.
(1) Opening Coin Toss Will Be: TAILS -102
Is it just me, or is this the best and worst thing to happen to gambling? Literally 50-50 odds of winning, but considering every coin I’ve found this year has been Tails, I’m backing that side of the coin in the Super Bowl.
(2) Will Nick Foles Throw an Interception? YES -130
Its going to happen, just a matter of when. The money is better on the opposing side of this bet, but this is a backup quarterback playing in his first Super Bowl. Be warned.
(3) Will there be a Lead Change in the 4th Quarter? YES +250
New England is known for coming back to win. Philadelphia has been taking the lead like a champ all season. This feels like a near certainty that both teams will trade leads in the final quarter of Super Bowl LII.

(4) Who will have more on Feb. 4 game?
LeBron James points vs.
Nick Foles Total pass attempts
I’m taking LeBron James +6.5 points against the Houston Rockets. With Kevin Love injured, its all James in this powerhouse NBA showdown. I also do not believe Foles throws the ball more than 25 times. The Eagles need to utilize their strong running game to win, considering New England ranked 20th against the run this season.
