Wynn is rising up some draft rankings. So, it may behoove the Jets to select him sooner rather than later.

In 2006, the New York Jets were needed o upgrade their offensive line. That year, they had two first round picks, and they selected D’Brickashaw Ferguson and Nick Mangold, two guys who would be among the best at their positions for a long time. Just like in that year, the Jets will use their first two picks to upgrade the offensive line here.

The Jets had a terrible offensive line by any measure in 2017, especially inside. According to Pro Football Focus Elite, they allowed a total of 175 pressure, and their centers and guards allowed 101. Wynn only allowed four, and that was against defensive ends at left tackle. He will probably move inside, and that will immediately give the pass protection an upgrade.

He was part of an offensive line that helped one of the best rushing attacks in the nation. The Bulldogs were fifth in the nation in both yards per carry (5.8) and rushing touchdowns (42). He will help open holes, and with the improved running game, the Jets will see an immediate improvement in the offense in 2018. His presence will also help the defense by the Jets offense being able to keep them off the field.
