6. New Orleans Saints: Pick No. 27

Speaking of teams that will need to eventually figure out their current successor at quarterback, the New Orleans Saints are in the same exact situation as the Patriots for the most part when it comes to Drew Brees. Despite his age, Brees continues to put up numbers that are insane, and the scary factor is he doesn’t appear to be slowing down any time soon, which is obviously great news for the Saints.

From his fierce competitive nature to ability to move the football down field, Brees has been absolutely amazing for New Orleans throughout his career, and while the defense took most of the credit for their success last season, the veteran deserves just as much recognition as well. In fact, when looking at all of the weapons Brees is fortunate enough to work with in the backfield along with his current group of receivers, there’s every reason to believe the Saints will carry their success over into 2018 as one of the teams to beat in the NFC.

Just like his situation would be in New England, Jackson would obviously have to wait for Brees to call it a career before taking over the starting role if he were to be selected by New Orleans. And just like with Brady, backing up Brees would allow Jackson to learn from one of the NFL’s greatest of all time.
