5. Folorunso Fatukasi, UConn: 6-4, 315 pounds

Folorunso “Foley” Fatukasi is someone who gives a defensive coordinator what he loves — a chess piece. Fatukasi plays both the tackle and end positions. Flexibility allows Fangio to move players around and keep opposing offenses guessing on what’s coming at them. Anything you do to make Aaron Rodgers think more is good, right?

Fatukasi comes from Connecticut who took on many double teams. Doing that in the pros frees up someone else to make plays. However, he can make plays as well. He had 45 tackles (7.5 for loss) and four sacks. He has brute power who can move blockers back and get in the running lanes, a great help against the run.

Fatukasi has heavy hands he uses effectively to move blockers and help collapse the pocket. That flushes out the quarterback and makes him. Additionally, he has a good spin move that with more refinement could help him get to the quarterback at the higher level.

What Fatukasi needs to work on his shedding blocks. He fires off well, but sometimes when a blocker locks on, he takes too long to shed the block.

Fatukasi would be a good pick. He has a great big body that takes up space. He has the strength and power to do well in the NFL. If he can improve on the point of attack and use his feet better he has a high ceiling.
