3 pros to signing Dez Bryant

His experience. The main reason I see Bryant as a good fit is that he’s an incredibly experienced player. He has played in a lot of high-pressure game and came in clutch most times. The Saints don’t really have that superstar name attached to their team either as their backups are Ted Ginn and Cameron Meredith. Bringing Bryant in adds another level of depth.

They’re a contender. Obviously, the New Orleans Saints are a contender for the Super Bowl this year and they need a roster that reflects it. Signing Bryant gives Brees another strong and fast target to throw to. Bryant might not have gotten to a Super Bowl in this career, but he’s still young. If he signs with the Saints, he only helps to solidify their chance at winning.

A fresh start. If anything, signing with the Saints is a fresh start for the team and for Bryant. A change of scenery might be exactly what Bryant needs. He struggled to connect with Dak Prescott so joining a new offense, learning a new playbook and working with Brees could spell success. As for the Saints, it would be a fresh start for their receiving corp and hopefully, shake up their already dynamic offense.
