2. Shoot your shots

Another reason people come to draft parties is to drink alcoholic beverages — assuming you’re of age, of course. Nothing like getting drunk with your friends on a Thursday night, am I right? Granted, you don’t have to go to work the next day. If you do, then maybe skip out on this one.

For those of us who can hold our alcohol or are off, drinking during the draft is always fun. With the draft going on, there are multiple opportunities for drinking games. The most obvious being “Take a shot when…” game where you take a shot when something happens.

Here are few examples: “Take a shot when Mel Kiper predicts something right (or wrong),” “Take a shot when Dallas Cowboys fans say “We Dem Boyz on Twitter” or “Take a shot when the Browns pick Saquon Barkley first overall”, and so on. Those are just a few examples, but there are a million and two different ideas.

Maybe you’re not into “take a shot” drinking games and fair enough. You can modify some other drinking games such as beer pong, never have I ever and an NFL version of bullshit. There are a lot of fun drinking games you can relate back to the draft. Even if you don’t drink, you can still take water shots. It’s not as fun but neither is going to work hungover!
