1. Coleman is going to make a huge impact in the passing game

Over Tevin Coleman’s three years in the NFL, he’s totaled 734 receiving yards and six receiving touchdowns on 60 total receptions. While he definitely won’t achieve any of those totals in a single-season, he does have the chance to have a great 2018 campaign in terms of making an impact in the passing game.

Yes, you can expect Coleman to put up some solid receiving numbers by himself this season, but I believe his presence on the outside will give his teammates more opportunities to make the big play. All it’s going to take is one wrong assignment or one wrong adjustment from a defense to let Calvin Ridley, Julio Jones, or Mohamed Sanu take the roof off of the defense.

Heck, just think about it, Dirty Birds fans — how many times have the Falcons somehow gotten Julio matched-up against a linebacker? Whether it’s Coleman getting that match-up or allowing one of his teammates to earn that gift, either way, its just a huge, back-breaking play waiting to happen.

I don’t know about you, but I am extremely excited to see what 2018 has in store for the former Hoosiers superstar. Who knows, he just may make the biggest play of the team’s season.
