1. Indianapolis Colts: Nick Bosa, Ohio State, EDGE

In 2016, Ohio State defensive end Joey Bosa went No. 3 overall to the San Diego Chargers, who have since become the Los Angeles Chargers. He was the first defensive player off the board that season, following two quarterbacks being taken off the board.

Bosa and the Bolts had a hard time coming to terms, but since he got his deal signed and hit the field he’s been a beast. Bosa has 23 sacks in his first two seasons, despite missing four games to start his rookie season.

As good as he is, some think his little brother can be even better. The younger Bosa played well as a freshman for Ohio State, recording 29 tackles and five sacks. He followed that up with 34 tackles — an impressive 16 of which went for a loss — and 8.5 sacks. Should he continue to develop, he could very well be the first player off the board in the 2019 NFL Draft.

That becomes even more possible with a team like the Indianapolis Colts on the board. Indy strengthened their offensive line in 2018 with guard Quenton Nelson and now adding Bosa makes their defensive line much better. They’ve needed to address this area for years and finally do here.
