4. Raven Greene, Safety

One of the largest unknowns among fans is safety Raven Greene, who could have promising potential as a special teams player in 2018. For Greene, a recent injury to Kentrell Brice creates even more opportunity for a Packers team already lacking safety depth.

More from NFL Spin Zone

A rookie out of James Madison, Greene could be the latest undrafted free agent on a list of safeties scattered with former unwanteds. Brice, Jermaine Whitehead and Marwin Evans all failed to see their name called on Draft Day.

But that doesn’t mean Greene can’t make the team. Of course, the odds are stacked against him, but it might not take much to propel himself ahead of either Evans or Whitehead – both of whom were on the 53-man roster last season.

If Greene finishes with an impressive preseason, it may warrant a spot as a special teams contributor this coming season – not to mention as important safety depth. Don’t be surprised if Greene finds a way onto the final roster.
