The preseason is in full swing for all 32 NFL teams. So what were the five best moves this offseason when it came to the offensive line?

It’s almost hard to believe. There is less than a month remaining before the start of the 2018 NFL regular season. Training camps are in full swing throughout the league. And the second week of the preseason is on the horizon.

So now is as good a time as any to take stock of this offseason and check out the best additions by teams when it comes to specific positions.

This series started with the skill positions: Quarterback, running back, wide receiver and tight end. But all of those positions and a football team in general is only as good as the men in the trenches.

Hence, here’s a look at the five best offseason moves when it came to the offensive line. This list includes one center, two tackles and a pair of guards — the latter including a talented rookie who is already opening some eyes.

It’s also worth noting that the five selections here came every way possible: Free agency, trade and April’s NFL Draft. And if all perform up to expectations, there should five very happy organizations this fall. Hence, the series continues with these choices when it comes to the trenches.
