2. Wide receiver Chad Hansen

During the spring, Chad Hansen was lighting up team workouts, according to various beat reports. He was getting rave reviews from almost everyone who attend the offseason workouts. However, he’s been quite this summer once the games kicked off.

You might even say that it’s been hard to spot him this preseason once the ball is snapped. He’s played in 51 snaps this preseason, been targeted twice, has one catch, and zero yards.

Terrelle Pryor has been in a walking boot most of camp, and he stepped on the field and earned a roster spot with just one spectacular play. Hansen will have to put on a similar performance to make this roster.

Unlike Pryor, who has a good NFL season to back him up, Hansen won’t be able to make this team off of one spectacular play. He’s going to have to string some plays together in order to make this team. Hansen doesn’t have special teams ability. So, that limits his to just his offensive production. It’s probably a long-shot for him to make this team, but if he has a spectacular performance, it’ll be hard for the coaches to keep him off the roster.
