Dallas Cowboys – Defensive Tackle

The Cowboys have a decision to make on DeMarcus Lawrence’s contract. Whether or not they keep him shouldn’t stop them drafting a defensive tackle. They need to beef up that front and add someone who can clog the middle. Their run defense will likely become their Achilles heel, despite their star-studded linebacker corps. A solid tackle up front will help make them a dangerous defense.

Denver Broncos – Nose Tackle

The theme for a number of NFL teams is getting their version of Geno Atkins, Aaron Donald or, in the Broncos’ case, Damon Harrison. They need a powerhouse mammoth of nose tackle to keep their linebackers clean. Domata Peko is 33 years old and will become a free agent next season.

Detroit Lions – Cornerback

They have a great corner in Darius Slay, but there’s not much help after him. The Lions have a project in Teez Tabor, but they need more help. When you’re in a division with Aaron Rodgers, you can never have too many quality cornerbacks.

Green Bay Packers – Outside Linebacker

Clay Matthews has done all he can for the Packers and his time is coming to an end. He’s a free agent in 2019 and whether or not he’s retained, they need a more dynamic player at outside linebacker. They Packers’ lack the pass rush to match the talent they have added in recent drafts in the secondary.

Houston Texans – Cornerback

The Texans don’t have a lot of holes, but they need help at cornerback. 34-year old Johnathan Joseph is past his prime. Kevin Johnson has played 18 games in two seasons and hasn’t had an interception since 2015. It’s time for the Texans to add some youth at the corner spot.
