Jimmy Graham leads the Packers in touchdowns

One of the best moves made by the Green Bay Packers this offseason was acquiring former Saints and Seahawks tight end, Jimmy Graham.

A consistent tight end threat was what Aaron Rodgers was missing. After the Martellus Bennett experience failed, the front office took another risk with Jimmy Graham. His numbers dropped considerably after he was traded to Seattle, but the Seahawks offense is much more run-oriented, so it was no surprise to see Graham’s numbers drop.

The Packers offense is very similar to what the Saints run. Graham will catch passes from a quarterback who can (and will) throw it all over the field again. It didn’t take long for Rodgers and Graham to connect either.

It was only preseason but if they have this connection and chemistry already, opposing defenses are in for a long season.

Graham is a matchup nightmare. Combine that with the best quarterback in the game throwing to him, he will see a lot of opportunities, especially in the red zone. Those opportunities will lead to touchdowns and a lot of them for the new No. 80.
