5. Philadelphia Eagles

Normally, a game between two teams entering Week 2 with 1-0 records wouldn’t seem to qualify for a potential upset, but since the Buccaneers are still a team with a lot to prove, it only seemed fair to put the Philadelphia Eagles on this list. After the results of last season, Tampa Bay seemed like they were going to be in for a brutal opener in New Orleans before going on to score 48 points against a Saints that was considered to have one of the top defenses from the 2017 season.

To top it off, Ryan Fitzpatrick displayed one of the best performances of his career after throwing for 417 yards to go along with five touchdowns (one rushing). The Eagles’ defense may feel confident over their chances of keeping the veteran quarterback in check on Sunday since they were able to prevent Matt Ryan from finding the end zone in Week 1, but also Fitzpatrick is arguably playing for the starting job at this point.

It sounds crazy to even consider, but if Fitzpatrick continues to play his heart out while leading the Buccaneers to win, Jameis Winston could end up losing his starting job under center. But before jumping that far ahead, Fitzpatrick is focused on the Eagles.
