The Entire Offensive Line

This one is a bit of a cop-out considering it’s not one player, but five players. However, the entire offensive line has struggled. It all started in the preseason but has now carried over into the regular season. A few seasons ago, the Green Bay Packers had one of the best offensive lines in the NFL, but that distinction has long since faded.

They weren’t able to tame Khalil Mack and the Bears pass rush. This Sunday, the offensive line faces arguably the best front seven in football. The Vikings pass rush is one of the best the Packers will see all year. If Rodgers goes out there, he will not be 100 percent. That means the line has a lot more pressure to contain the Vikings pass rush.

The O-line did improve in the second half last Sunday, but that was because of the change in the gameplan. Rodgers got the ball out of his hands much quicker. We will see more of the same in the game this Sunday if Rodgers is the quarterback.

Overall, keeping Rodgers, or any Packers quarterback, off their back will be a success. Disaster was avoided when Rodgers’ injury wasn’t as bad as initially thought. A better job needs to be done, or Rodgers will be on his back way more than anyone will like.
