2. Alvin Kamara

In Week 1, Alvin Kamara went off. Despite the Saints only running it 13 times, the second-year back was able to get two rushing touchdowns. However, it was his work as a receiver that stood out against the Bucs.

Kamara ended the day with nine receptions and 112 yards with another touchdown. He was behind only Michael Thomas as a pass catcher as Thomas recorded 180 yards and a score on 16 catches.

Going against the Browns, Kamara will again be relied upon in both facets. And the plays will likely be there for the taking.

While the Browns recorded six takeaways in Week 1, they weren’t without flaws defensively. They especially struggled when trying to stop the running back.

Le’Veon Bell was out due to a contract holdout, but James Conner played well — outside of his fumble that changed the momentum. On the ground, Conner ripped off 135 yards and two touchdowns. He also added 57 yards receiving off three catches.

With all due respect to Conner, Kamara is much more explosive than him. If Conner found that kind of room to run, Kamara could be in for a big day. Cleveland has strong players on defense, but the defensive line is thin and Kamara can exploit that.
