Winner: Ryan Fitzpatrick

Do you believe in FitzMagic? Well you should. Ryan Fitzpatrick was supposed to be a solid fill-in for Jameis Winston as the starting quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers while Winston was suspended. Instead, Fitzpatrick has gone out and beaten two playoff teams from last year and done so while looking like an MVP candidate. Can he keep this up? It’s impossible to say, especially since no one saw it coming in the first place. However, it’s a wild ride to watch right now.

Winner: Jacksonville Jaguars

There was always a chance that the Jacksonville Jaguars would be able to top the New England Patriots in the big late-afternoon game of Week 2. However, with Leonard Fournette not active for this game, I’m not sure that anyone could have foreseen how dominant the Jags were going to be in this game.

Jacksonville, shockingly led by Blake Bortles, simply took it to Tom Brady and the pats in this game. This team is 100 percent for real and their 2017 success and ultimate trip to the AFC Championship Game was not a fluke. And now New England is certainly more than aware of that.

Loser: Philadelphia Eagles

In the same vein that Fitzpatrick and the Buccaneers are still winning, we need to talk about the Eagles at this point. Yes, Nick Foles may have had a nice statistical day, but it was still a loss for Philly to a team that they are far more talented than. What’s more, this was also a game where they saw injuries to Mike Wallace, Jay Ajayi and, most importantly, Jason Peters.

If this team that’s already ailing with injuries continues to get more banged up and play poorly, this could be a tough title defense.
