Green Bay Packers (1-0-1) at Washington Redskins (1-1)

Sunday, September 23, 1 PM ET

Admittedly, I was a bit skeptical of the Green Bay Packers’ ability to contend coming into the regular season. I knew having Aaron Rodgers would help their case, but I wasn’t convinced the defense was ready to keep opposing offenses at bay. Well, I was wrong.

In fact, I was more wrong about the impact a healthy (or even hobbled) Rodgers would have. As it turns out, he’s capable of overcoming nearly anything if it means putting the Packers in a position to win. It didn’t quite work out in Week 2, but he certainly did his part to at least walk away from that divisional showdown with a tie.

The Redskins, on the other hand, have been unimpressive so far. They dismantled a horrible Arizona Cardinals team in Week 1, and then got upset by the Indianapolis Colts this past weekend. The offense looked lethargic, and the defense couldn’t keep Andrew Luck in check.

So how do they plan on corralling Rodgers? Does it really matter? No matter what plan the Redskins have in place come Sunday, it’ll be for naught. The Packers will enter D.C., dominate the gridiron, and head home with a 2-0-1 record.

Prediction: Packers win 26-10
