2. Sam Darnold and Terrelle Pryor bounce back in a big way

For Terrelle Pryor it’s a bad play that needs to go to the ether and stay there. Sam Darnold’s second interception should fall on the shoulders of Pryor, because he was lackadaisical on the play and it burned him.

That said, he owned up to it. As Matt Stypulkoski of NJ.com reported, he told the media that he let down Darnold on the play and that the interception was his fault.

"“I let him down,” Pryor said. “I said it to him after the game, I said, ‘I hope you can forgive me, I’ll make sure I’m there next time.’ That’s not on Sam and I wish it could go on a stat for me … that’s all I keep thinking about is that play.”"

Darnold not only felt the pressure all day, but he threw an interception early on in the day that led to a Dolphins touchdown. The two interception day was bad, but he’s been praised for he resilience all offseason, and now he’s going to have to prove it.

After a roller coaster of a game, he’s going to have to go out against a decent secondary and show what he’s made of. He will spread the ball around, and he will throw for 300 yards again. This time he will have his first interception-free game of his career.
