4. Jon Gruden

Isn’t it hilarious to hear the Oakland Raiders discuss their need in finding help with an effective pass rusher when they were the ones that decided to move on from Khalil Mack instead of opening up their checkbook? When looking at how quickly Mack has been able to make an impact in two weeks with the Chicago Bears, Raiders fans can’t help but wonder why their team would move on from their former star defender so fast, especially after a 0-2 start.

Many questioned the decision by Oakland to pay Jon Gruden that hefty contract in the offseason, and the Raiders head coach has been feeling the heat once again following a tough loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 2. And when seeing how the Raiders were holding on to a 19-7 lead late in the third quarter, it makes this whole situation even more frustrating to see take place.

On Sunday, Oakland will face a surprise challenge on the road when they take on a Miami Dolphins team that has gotten off to a surprising 2-0 start thanks to a healthy Ryan Tannehill. For the sake of Gruden, here’s to hoping the Raiders can figure out a way to use some magic on Sunday to escape Miami with a win, or all of that money invested in Gruden is going to look like a complete waste.
