Minnesota Vikings (1-1-1) at Los Angeles Rams (3-0)

Thursday, September 27, 8:20pm ET

Coming into the season, I thought the Minnesota Vikings were unstoppable. Then they got destroyed by the Buffalo Bills, and all of the confidence I had went right down the drain. Now, they square off with arguably the hottest team in the NFL.

Right now, the Los Angeles Rams are a force to be reckoned with. They’ve breezed through their first three games, pulling off a win against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 3 after destroying their first two opponents. The trio of Jared Goff, Todd Gurley and Brandin Cooks has been fire, and the defense is suffocating.

Put simply, it’s not looking good for Minnesota and their patchwork offensive line. Kirk Cousins could spend the entire game running for his life, much like he did against Buffalo. It could lead to even more strip sacks and stuffed runs for the Vikings.

The Minnesota defense will hold its own for most of the game, but too many three-and-outs by the offense will force them into too many difficult situations. Goff and Gurley put just enough points on the board to keep this one out of reach.

Prediction: Rams win 27-14
