New York Jets (1-2) at Jacksonville Jaguars (2-1)

Sunday, September 30, 1pm ET

I’m not sure what happened to the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 3. After a dominant showing against the New England Patriots a week earlier, they simply collapsed against the Tennessee Titans, earning their first loss in a 9-6 defeat.

Well, if they’re going to get back on track in Week 4, they’re going to need a better effort from Blake Bortles and the offense. The Jaguars struggled to get anything going on that side of the ball, evidenced by their measly six points on Sunday. Still, as we saw in Week 2, Bortles is more than capable of moving the ball even with Leonard Fournette out.

As for the New York Jets, they’ve been a bummer since their Week 1 shellacking of the Detroit Lions. Sam Darnold has looked like a rookie, and the defense hasn’t been able to keep opponents in check. They couldn’t even deny the Cleveland Browns from winning their first game in over a year and a half.

Darnold will do his best to keep the Jets alive in this one, but the Jacksonville defense will be too much to overcome. Assuming Bortles and Co. can find their way out of their Week 3 slump, the Jaguars should have enough points in them to walk away with the W.

Prediction: Jaguars win 23-10
