Whoever plays at right tackle

Here’s a shocker. Bryan Bulaga is injured. He wasn’t able to finish last week’s game in Washington due to a back injury. Jason Spriggs and Byron Bell filled in for Bulaga during the second half of that game. However, all signs are pointing in favor for Bulaga to play on Sunday. He was a participant in practice on Wednesday and Thursday.

That means he will likely face one of the NFL’s premier pass rushers, again. This time, it’s Jerry Hughes from Buffalo. He has two sacks and a forced fumble in three games this year.

He absolutely destroyed the Vikings offensive line last week. Thankfully, their line is considerably worse than Green Bay’s, but every week, it seems Rodgers is on his back. If he wants to play the entire season, the number of sacks need to be reduced now.

With Rodgers not at 100 percent, keeping him off of his back is crucial to his health. It really is about protecting the franchise right now more than ever. Whoever plays at right tackle will likely matchup against Hughes for the majority of the game. How the Packers will deal with the Bills pass rush is yet to be determined, but you can definitely think that it is one of the top priorities going into this game.

The whole right side of the offensive line is in shambles for the most part. Right guard, Justin McCray, is out for the game this Sunday. It will be up to the aforementioned Byron Bell to hold down the position until he can come back.
