2. Defense causes 3 turnovers and scores 1 touchdown

Since the Eagles loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 2, I have witnessed and read a lot of slander regarding the Eagles defense. Yes, they did get lit up by Ryan Fitzpatrick and they did not play their best, but this defense is still elite and one of the best units in the NFL.

Jim Schwartz has also been getting knocked the last couple of weeks, but Schwartz is one of the best defensive coordinators in football and his bend don’t break mentality of his defense is the perfect compliment to Wentz and the high powered offense.

They head into Tennessee to play a quarterback that many, including myself, wanted when Chip Kelly was still the head coach: Marcus Mariota. Fast forward to present time, Philly got lucky they did not trade the farm for Mariota. He is not even close to being the quarterback many had thought he would be. I would even add he is on the cusp of becoming a draft bust, especially considering the Titans reportedly turned down a monster deal from the Eagles for him.

Mariota is going to have a rough day in the office on Sunday. This eagles defense is back, even though they have never even left! Look for them to create three big turnovers, one of which they score on. Look for Fletcher Cox to have a huge strip sack on third down, Ronald Darby to get his second interception of the season, and Sidney Jones to get his first career interception and return it for a touchdown.
