2. Mack keeps sack streak going

Reaching out to the Raiders before the start of the regular season to see what it would take to land Khalil Mack was the best decision the Chicago Bears could have made when looking at the impact he’s made so fast on the defense.

More from NFL Spin Zone

Since Mack missed all of training camp and preseason while holding out, early signs made it seem like the star defender would need to play catch up while getting used to his new team, but that was far from the case.

Instead, Mack looks like a player that has been part of Chicago’s defense for years, and seeing him record a sack each game of 2018 shows he was well worth giving up two future first-round picks for. Not to mention, Mack’s impressive play along with the offense taking a major leap has the Bears sitting on top of the NFC North all alone, which has been amazing to see.

The chances of Mack recording at least one sack in every game for the rest of the season seem slim, but Chicago does seem to be in for a favorable matchup for Sunday in Miami. When looking at how well the Bears’ defense has been so far, a game against a Dolphins coming off a rough loss to the Patriots should be nothing.
