Carolina Panthers (3-1) at Washington Redskins (2-1)

Sunday, October 14, 1PM ET

It’s always bite me when I choose to pick against the Panthers. Despite that unsavory fact, I’m selecting them to land in the loser column this week against the Washington Redskins.

Why? Well, for starters, I think this Redskins team is wildly underrated. It seems as though people are looking at their 2-1 record and the fact that they don’t possess a plethora of superstar, and assume they’re not worth losing sleep over. I can assure you that the Panthers will be having nightmares after Sunday’s affair.

Okay, so maybe that’s a bit dramatic. Still, I think you get my point.

The Redskins currently own the top defense in the NFL, and have a surprisingly efficient offense to go along with it. Boasting a roster full of young, potential-laden talent, it’s clear they’re ready to make waves in the race for the NFC crown. The Panthers are just the next victim in their crusade to the top of the NFC East.

Cam Newton and Christian McCaffrey will make plays as per usual, but not enough points will be on the Panthers’ side of the scoreboard when the clock strikes zero.

Prediction: Redskins win 25-17
