Seattle Seahawks (2-3) at Oakland Raiders (1-4)

Sunday, October 14, 1PM ET

I’m sorry, but I have zero confidence in the Oakland Raiders’ ability to win right now. They couldn’t muster a win against the Browns in Week 4, and then got crushed by the Chargers in Week 5. It’s looking like this Jon Gruden experiment is already blowing up in Mark Davis’ face.

Meanwhile, the Seahawks have actually been more competitive than I expected this season. It hasn’t all been pretty, but Seattle is making life difficult for opponents and keeping themselves in just about every game. Look at last week’s near-win against the undefeated Rams if you need further proof of this assertion.

Russell Wilson continues to do his thing, leading the offense and making miraculous plays on a weekly basis. The passing game is getting going with Tyler Lockett leading the charge, and the duo of Chris Carson and Mike Davis have the ground game running like a well-oiled machine.

It just so happens Oakland will be fielding one of the worst run defenses in the NFL on Sunday. As a result, the Seahawks should feed Carson and Davis all game long, allowing them to put consistent points on the board while keeping the ball out of Derek Carr’s hands.

Sorry Marshawn Lynch, but there will be no vengeance for you in Week 6.

Prediction: Seahawks win 20-6
