Baltimore Ravens: Bench Joe Flacco, Start Lamar Jackson

The Baltimore Ravens would make the playoffs if the season ended today, so this may come as a surprise, but it needs to be done. Joe Flacco has done a solid job this season, but he just doesn’t have “it” and the Ravens are not going to go from good to great with him anymore. In my opinion, when you draft a quarterback in the first round, he should be playing. Lamar Jackson should not only be playing, he should be starting.

Benching Flacco and starting Jackson creates the new era the Ravens desperately need and makes them a wildcard going further in the AFC. If they do not bench Flacco, the Ravens likely will miss out on the playoffs and waste crucial developmental time for Jackson, as the reps in 2018 could pay dividends for his entire career.

Buffalo Bills: Josh Allen was a bad pick

I pains me to write this, but sometimes the truth hurts. The Bills may have gotten the worst quarterback in the 2018 NFL Draft when they drafted Josh Allen out of Wyoming. Yes, he is big, tall, has huge hands, and looks great in shorts. However, on the field, in the games, he does not look good at all. Buffalo won in Week 5, but Allen had 82 yards passing and an interception. DraftJoshAllen.com was fun while it lasted, but Allen was a bad pick by the Bills.
